Welcome to my portfolio and my website. I'm Nguyen Tuan Minh, a young and passionate photographer with a diverse portfolio that spans multiple categories such as Sports, Portraiture, Landscapes, Animals, Aviation, Foods, and Events.
The first camera that I started this hobby with was the Nikon D5100 if I remember correctly. And as my skills became better, so did my equipment. I upgraded to the high-resolution Sony A7 R3 in late 2021, and switching to a camera with a full-frame sensor and a hybrid autofocusing system made a dramatic difference. I also used much better lenses, such as a 24-70 f2.8 and a 70-200mm f2.8, but Tamron's superzoom lens, the 28-200, for its versatility, remains on my camera most of the time.
In addition to my love for photography, I'm also an aspiring cinematographer. The art of filmmaking fascinates and resonates with me, and I am eager to explore the dynamic storytelling possibilities it offers. Through film, I want to bring stories to life in ways I couldn't with photography alone.

I upgraded to the Sony A7 IV at the start of 2024 for its hybrid capability. While it's technically a reduction in resolution compared to my last camera, but the video specs more than made up for it.

Even though I have only been making art for a couple of short years, and still have a lot to learn and a long journey to go before I'm what people consider a professional. Before going into photography, I experimented with music production and drawing, but once I realized my passion for cinematography, I honestly think that it was a combination of all my past skills

Currently, I am working towards expanding my skills and portfolio in both photography and cinematography. My ultimate goal is to attend university, where I can refine my craft and learn from industry experts. Winning a scholarship would be a dream come true, providing me with the opportunity to fully immerse myself in the world of filmmaking and achieve my aspirations.
